I wonder why it is that Gene Simmons has not yet tried to run for President. I like Gene because he’s an entrepreneur - and I admire his constant slew of money-making ideas.
A quick visit to his site however, revealed why he would not run for President, even though there does exist “Gene Simmons for President” t-shirts.
“I only have two problems with public office. 1. It doesn’t pay much (and everyone mostly, dislikes you). 2. While Democracy is wonderful on paper, I would prefer a Benevolent Dictatorship. Things get done.”
As usual I’m featuring two adoptable kitties - available at West Seattle’s ASHA Kitty Harbor. They are open Saturday’s and Sunday’s 11am to 7pm PST. For more information please visit them online. They have many cats and kittens who are in need of loving homes.

“Boing! I’m Sheena, a spritely 9-month-old girl, and I’m brand new here at Kitty Harbor. I’m mostly white with pretty grey tabby splotches, which I think set off my cute pink nose perfectly. See you soon! Boing boing boing!”

“Howdy! I’m Onyx, a small, black, 1-year-old female kitty with intense yellow eyes and the tiniest little white star on my chest. My favorite activities include purring, laying in the sun, rubbing noses with humans, and napping. What’s your house like?”

Every Saturday I will be posting some photos of cats and kittens that are available at the West Seattle ASHA Kitty Harbor. A few weeks ago I adopted my amazing one-eyed tuxedo dream “Bell’occhio” from Kitty Harbor and there are many more rescued bitties there needing homes as well.
Kitty Harbor is open on Saturdays and Sundays and welcome people who are SERIOUSLY looking to adopt. Do not go there if you are simply needing a kitty fix. To keep the kitties healthy they only allow serious adopters in (sans your shoes). Their facility is wonderful - you can go in and sit down and see who comes up to you or you can walk around and introduce yourself (to the kitties that is!)
Kitty Harbor is run by several volunteers and is funded via donations and out of pocket. They accept donations on the weekends in the form of money, cleaning supplies and cat food. If you are able to donate, please do. It’s a great tax write-off, but more importantly you help support a great no-kill rescue facility.

Step aside Morris…here comes cat-trepreneur Boo. Cat fans and entrepreneurs alike will learn to love him if they don’t already!

You will likely see posts about Boo every so often so be sure to familiarize yourself with him. He has his own website - which yours truly designed. Boo Boo Kitty
Boo is currently working on his first book entitled “Catnip for the Soul” and if you would like to be notified of it’s release date you can sign up via the website.
I highly recommend that you also sign up, while you are there, for Boo’s “Cat Tails” stories, which is free. You’ll see that up at the top of the page.
